Below are answers to the questions we hear most often. Don't see yours? Give us a call — we're happy to help.
We buy coin collections, big or small! If you are not a coin collector, it can be a daunting task. The internet can be helpful but confusing at the same time. If you have albums, proof sets, mint sets, or loose coins — bring everything in and we can help sort and price your collection.
Never clean a coin. You can turn a $5,000 coin into a $500 coin just by cleaning it.
We buy all types of precious metals — whether Gold, Silver, or Platinum, we buy it all! We do not consign, but rather offer a fair market value price.
Yes, we do both formal and informal appraisals. We routinely have customers come in and ask “I found this coin — what is it and what is it worth?” Those are considered informal and are free of charge.
For formal written insurance or probate appraisals, there is a fee based on the size of the collection.
We buy Sterling Silver forks, spoons, serving pieces, and knives. We pay very competitive pricing on all sterling.
Typically we do not go on house calls, however, we have made exceptions based on certain circumstances. Please call us to discuss your situation.
We strongly advise that you bring in your coin collection and jewelry for an over-the-counter free appraisal before selling. Very often customers come in after inheriting “costume” jewelry from their mother or grandmother thinking it is not worth anything.
More often than not, we have customers shocked at how much turned out to be gold and silver.
